The first round of the NHL Playoffs is over and we had a couple of surprises. The biggest being the Anaheim Ducks knocking off the Presidents Cup winners San Jose Sharks in 6 games. Carolina also shocked the Devils in Game 7 by scoring 2 goals in the last 1:20. The higher seeds won their series including Vancouver and Boston who swept St. Louis and Montreal respectivley.
The 2nd round begins on Thursday in Vancouver as the Canucks host the up-start Chicago Blackhawks. Check back later this week with previews and predictions from our NHL guru Mike Ivcic.
